BLF MISSIONThe mission of the Black Liberation Fund is to free the Black community. The Black Liberation Fund works to alleviate obstacles and hardships that the stigma of incarceration brings to Black families and incarcerated persons through an abolitionist framework offering direct services, education, advocacy, and resources.
BLF VISIONWe envision a world without mass incarceration and the institutions that currently support it. We offer resources and sustainable alternatives to imprisonment through programming, community partnerships, and advocacy to help Black families and communities affected by the prison industrial complex. We are building our own healthy and sustainable communities.
BLF SUPPORTThe Black Liberation Fund supports bail, legal services for those affected by the criminal system and assists in community record clearing (expungement and pardons). We are growing a volunteer base of supporters, and a current need for the Black Liberation Fund is continued fundraising to continue sustaining needs for those helped and expansion into recidivism and post-incarceration work. Also, BLF is looking to connect with other abolitionist and incarceration resource organizations to build our network of resources. If you have any questions email us at blackliberationfund@gmail.com, donate or fill out our volunteer form.
