BLF is a community organization whose focus is abolition of incarceration (justice impact) systems and restorative Justice.  Our mission is to invest and provide support to those harmed by the prison industrial complex

The Problem

Mass incarceration (justice Impact) is a wealth-generating industry that uses Black and Brown bodies as capital and categorically treats them as subhumans and it does not work to help Black people, People of color, and immigrants in the Low Country .

The Need to Abolish

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Volunteer to host an expungement or pardon workshop, donate to the freedom of another through funding, or help educate your community educational writing, phone banking or canvassing.
